The GSTS offers seven programmes within the faculty's subject areas: Agroecology, Animal Science, Bioscience, Engineering, Environmental Science, Food Science, and finally Quantitative Genetics and Genomics. Approx. 275 PhD students are enrolled at the graduate school.

The graduate school is supported by a joint PhD administration for Health, Natural Sciences and Technical Sciences. As of 15 June, the PhD administration will be housed in building 5132, Katrinebjergvej 89F, 8200 Aarhus N.
