Tech Research Support

Welcome to Tech Research Support (TRS)

In January 2024, AU’s research support structure was reorganized, and Tech Research Support (TRS) was established at the Dean's Secretariat at Technical Sciences. Together with Nat-Tech Finance and local research coordinators, TRS has taken over the coordination of the support for a wide range of foundations and programmes previously handled by the central AU Research Support Office.

What We Do

Tech Research Support is here to assist researchers, research coordinators, departments and the faculty as a whole throughout the application process. We aim to inform, connect, and advise all departments and centres within Tech, helping them navigate the funding landscape and secure more—and better—funding. TRS facilitates info meetings, offers mock interviews, coordinates faculty-based applications, and exchange information across both the faculty.

New Tools and Processes

Since our launch, we’ve implemented new tools and streamlined processes to improve the way we support research coordinators, researchers, etc. We believe many have already found their way to us - and we hope many more will get in touch in the future.

Local and Central Support

Research coordinators continue to provide local research support and serve as TRS’s link to the departments. While Kirstine Abild has moved on to a new role as EU coordinator for Brian Vinter and thus left TRS, the TRS team remains ready to assist.
