Research IT Support

IT-Infrastructure team at Aarhus University

About Us

The IT-Infrastructure team at Aarhus University is dedicated to ensure the smooth operation of a range of internal servers across the university. Our primary responsibilities include:

  • Research equipment and hardware support: help with setting up experiments, setting up internal networks, providing an interface for researchers to AU IT.
  • Migration to Oracle Cloud: We are in the process of migrating our internal server infrastructure to Oracle Cloud. This move aims to enhance scalability, improve performance, and provide a more flexible and secure environment for our university's needs.

Please note that while we are committed to providing support and maintenance for existing systems, we are unable to purchase or pay for new hardware. Our focus remains on optimizing and supporting the current infrastructure to meet the needs of the university effectively.
