Recruitment video shot among cows, pigs, and horses

On Wednesday 20 September, parts of AU Viborg were turned upside down as laboratory equipment was set up in the experimental fields at Foulumgård, and the pigs curiously roamed around among laptops, chairs, and school desks on the eco-platform. The reason, of course, was that AU's external agency, Envision, was filming the recruitment video for the upcoming campaign aimed at potential students.

In week 43, it all begins. That's when we kick off the recruitment campaign designed to attract students to our three new degree programs in veterinary medicine, Animal science, and Plant and Food science. Last Wednesday, a group of filmmakers visited AU Viborg to capture the right shots. But before the lights were set and the extensive script was translated into images, there was a massive coordination effort involving many people from AU Viborg.

"It has simply been so wonderful to see how everyone at AU Viborg has been ready to lend a hand so that we could succeed with props, models, and locations. It just goes to show that when we work together, a lot can be achieved. A big thank you to everyone who has devoted their time and resources to make an absolutely fantastic and successful shooting day possible," says Mathilde Andersen, who is educational advisor in the faculty secretariat and the project leader for the recruitment effort.

The recruitment video will premiere in week 43 and will be a key element in the recruitment campaign running on web and social media.

Remember that you can participate in the online sneak preview of the new video on Wednesday, October 11th, at 12 PM. If you haven't received an invitation yet, you can contact your departments Head of Secretariat.
