Despite the grey and rainy weather last Monday afternoon, a delegation from AU Viborg and the Dean's Office received a warm and comprehensive impression of what Viborg has to offer prospective students. Viborg Municipality, the housing association Boligselskabet Sct.  Jørgen and Bolig Viborg invited a delegation from AU on a tour of some of the student housing units ready to welcome new students at AU Viborg from autumn 2024.

"It was exciting to experience for ourselves the nice surroundings Viborg Municipality is offering our prospective students. There’s a wide range of options to choose from when the students have to find a place to live, and it’s also crystal clear that there’s currently more than enough space in Viborg for everyone – no matter what kind of housing they dream of," says Finn Borchsenius, vice-dean for education at Tech.

The tour went around Nørresøparken, where it was possible to see one of the youth residences on the site. They then continued past Camp East, and the Merkur and Nørresø residence halls, to Camp Logos and Solgården, it was also possible to take a closer look at some of the different options.

There was a stop along the way at Vesterbrogade 10, which is one of the locations in focus as a possible meeting place for students in Viborg Municipality.
