Klimafolkemødet 2025 – August 28–29 in Middelfart

Would you like to participate?

Now is your chance to propose activities, talks, or other content that can engage and inspire the thousands of visitors. Whether you have an exciting demo, want to share your latest research findings, or would like to join a debate – we’d love to hear from you!

🔎 What are we looking for?

• Academic presentations (15 minutes) tailored to a broad audience
• Workshops or interactive activities for both youth and adults

Outside the AU tent, you can also participate in:

• Conversation salons – short, informal talks about climate-relevant research. Submit your idea directly to Klimafolkemødet here: Samtalesalon

🎯 Why a joint stand?

By joining forces across Tech, we can present a strong and unified picture of how our research contributes to solving challenges related to climate, environment, agriculture, and sustainability. At the same time, we get the chance to meet citizens, decision-makers, and partners face-to-face.

About the stand:
We have a 3x9 meter stand and are planning a program with talks and activities. We will be present at the following times:

• Thursday, August 28, from 10:00–18:00
• Friday, August 29, from 10:00–15:00

Please note the following rules at Klimafolkemødet:

• You may not sell products from your stand
• You may not distribute materials such as brochures, tote bags, flyers, promotional gifts, or similar items that could become waste
• If you need electricity, you must bring your own battery or generate power via solar panels or wind turbines

📩 How to participate

Send an email to jth@agro.au.dk no later than Friday, July 4, 2025, including:

• A short description of your idea (title + a few lines about content and format)
• Info regarding participation as a panelist or in the conversation salons

Ideas do not need to be fully developed – we’re happy to help shape them.

Klimafolkemødet is Denmark’s largest climate event and attracted over 40,000 visitors in 2024. It’s a unique platform for sharing knowledge, creating dialogue, and inspiring action.
