Upcoming courses for postdocs and assistant professors at AU
AU Career PhD & JR and The Junior Researcher Association organize three courses for postdocs and assistant professors this autumn:
🔷 Fundamentals of Academic Writing: 5 Mondays starting 24 October 2022 (webinars)
🔷 Elements of Leadership: 6-7 December 2022 (physical meeting)
🔷 Self-leadership: 8 December 2022 (physical meeting)
The courses are developed and facilitated by Matt Lane, PhD who is the Director of the Researcher Development Partnership. Matt has +10 years of experience with researcher development and facilitation of courses and workshops, and he focuses especially on communication and the foundations of academic English for international publication; researcher wellbeing; researcher leadership using key mindsets to master essential skillsets; and organizational development to affect positive structural change.
The courses are free of charge, and certificates will be awarded on 80% participation.
