Students should be enrolled at the Faculty of Technical Sciences or Faculty of Natural Sciences, Aarhus University.
Students in research fields relevant to Danish agriculture, food and wildlife biology (birds and mammals) can apply for the above-mentioned scholarships and travel bursaries:
For students, PhD students included, for either:
Please note that general living expenses for paid PhD students are not supported.
The reception of a scholarship or travel bursary must not lead to prolongation of one’s studies, and hence the student must plan the use of the given scholarship as a part of her/his project process.
The board of trustees will decide on the number and sizes of the donations based on the incoming applications.
The Frands Christian Frantsens Legat Foundation will award scholarships and travel grants in May 2024.
However, since the foundation has limited funds for distribution in 2024, these will primarily be prioritized for Bachelor students in portions of typically between DKK 5,000 and 10,000. Master's and PhD students are still welcome to apply.
You can find the application form here.
Please notice that you must include relevant documents in your application. You can read in the application form, which documents you should attach.
Applications must be submitted to fcf-foundation@au.dk no later than 6 May 2024.
