Tech’s quality management system is anchored in the organisation
Tech’s quality management system is firmly anchored and widely embedded across the organisation. This is one of the conclusions from the annual audit, which the system undergoes each year as part of the ISO 9001 certification.
Techs science-based advice rest on a solid foundation with a quality management system that employees have truly embraced. This was the overall conclusion of the recently completed audit of the system, carried out by FORCE Certification. Tech’s Pro-Dean for or public sector consultancy, Ole Hertel, is pleased:
“The external audit went extremely well. The employees who were audited were very confident in how to approach the process, ensuring quality, impartiality, transparency, and documentation in our science-based advisory work.”
Tech’s quality management system was ISO 9001-certified in 2020 and has been audited annually ever since. This year, the auditor made only a few minor remarks, all of which related to the system itself and not to the way employees work with it.
“Although employees may not necessarily know the system by heart, the audit showed that they have truly adopted the principles of quality management. This means the system is alive, and employees are able to handle tasks that differ from those described in the system. In this way, we have moved from a mere stamp of quality assurance to something of genuine value,” says Ole Hertel.
In 2024, it was decided that all employees working with r science-based advice must complete Tech’s course in research-based public sector consultancy. Would you like to see when the next course is held? Find the dates here.
